Try to make things globally quiet

I still can see progress bars in builds even though we have --quiet. https://gitlab.idiap.ch/bob/bob.extension/-/jobs/115353 Maybe this will fix it.

I think this went too far. Now the test output is not shown anymore. Suggestions?

I'm wrong - it was just slow...

Maybe we should open issues for each issue we are facing and referencing #35 (closed) to keep track of things.
