Contains the source code to reproduce the experiments in the chapter entitled "Towards Measuring the Amount of Discriminatory Information in Fingervein Biometric Characteristics Using a Relative Entropy Estimator" in the Handbook of Vascular Biometrics.

NOTE: This repository contains the same code as the repository that was made available (at the same link) when the aforementioned chapter was released in 2020. The only difference is that, in this new repository, the commit history has been deleted, and the copyright and licensing information has been updated to follow the SPDX specification.
